Uncommon Vessels is Getting a Facelift!!


Since 2007 Uncommon Vessels has ministered to many who felt hopeless in their struggles with overeating, undereating, bingeing, etc. through a weekly lesson, the disciplines of prayer, Bible reading, scripture memorization, fellowship, weekly weigh-in's, exercise and diet. We've watched the Lord bring tremendous victory and wonderful heart changes over the last four years through this program...but we want to change things up!

We are going to embark on a 13 week study of the book, "Idols of the Heart" by Elyse Fitzpatrick, while still encouraging the disciplines previously taught, just a bit more relaxed. We will meet October 18-- November 29th , break for Christmas and return January 10th-- February 7th. Meetings will begin at 6:45 pm and dismiss at 8:00 pm.

Beginning Tuesday October 18th we will meet for a mandatory orientation meeting (all people must attend, even if you have been through previously). At this meeting we will do an overview of the study and hand out the materials and book. The cost for the entire 13 weeks is $25.00, which includes the book and all materials.

You must pre-register and prepay by Monday October 3rd to allow for the ordering of books. Unpaid registrations will not be honoured. You may pay by cash or cheque made payable to "First Baptist Church".
